At the Introduction to the LGBT+ Conversation, Dr. Preston Sprinkle will help you to engage tough questions about faith, sexuality, and gender with theological faithfulness and courageous love.
Some of the questions we’ll address include:
- What does the Bible say about marriage and same-sex relationships?
- How can you love LGBT+ people without sacrificing your convictions?
- How do I walk with my child or loved one who identifies as LGBT+?
- What language should straight Christians use and not use in this conversation?
This 2 1/2 hour Introduction is a condensed version of the first 4 sessions of the full One Day Leaders Forum, which will be held the next day. In terms of audience, this Introduction will be particularly helpful for Christians with friends or loved ones who are LGBT+ (Christian or non), or any Christian interested in learning more about this important topic.
The full One Day Leaders Forum, held the next day, is focused specifically on leaders, pastors, and educators. Please note: if you registered for the full One-Day Leaders Forum, you do not need to attend this Introduction.
