What factors help sexual and gender minority Christians who pursue celibacy or mixed-orientation marriage to persist (and grow!) in their faith? What about when these Christians feel called into vocational ministry—whether or not they're able to be "out" about their experience of sexuality or gender among the people they serve in ministry? In this webinar, we'll hear from Taka Chan, who recently interviewed twenty sexual and gender minority Christians with 10+ years of experience working for Christian organizations. Drawing from his research, he'll help us understand what personal, community, and organizational dynamics have helped his interviewees persevere in their ministry work—and in their faith.
