Spiritual direction is an ancient Christian practice in which one person helps another recognize and pay attention to the voice of God. While spiritual direction isn’t the same as pastoring or counseling, all three of these practices can help to foster an environment where genuine spiritual formation occurs. What does it look like when trained spiritual directors sit down with sexual and gender minorities who want to hear God’s voice? What can the shape of these conversations teach us about how spiritual formation happens in the lives of sexual and gender minorities—and how it happens for us all? This webinar will feature insights from a panel of four experienced spiritual directors: Lesli Hudson-Reynolds, Josh Proctor, Renee Huie, and Dan Huie.
