One of the most hotly debated questions in the current Christian conversation about sexuality is whether Christians can (or should) describe themselves with sexual identity terms like "gay," "bisexual," or "queer." Are these terms useful and missional, or do they create unnecessary confusion or even spiritual danger? In this webinar, Preston will facilitate a dialogue between two Christians who are both attracted to the same sex and who take different approaches to this question. Rachel Gilson, who prefers not to describe herself as "gay" or "lesbian" and typically uses the term "same-sex attracted," is a campus minister with Cru and is the author of Born Again This Way. Greg Coles, who avoids the term "same-sex attracted" and typically calls himself "gay," is a senior research fellow here at The Center and is the author of Single, Gay, Christian and No Longer Strangers.
