When, if ever, should Christians who experience gender dysphoria or attraction to the same sex share this part of their story with others? Conversations about "coming out" for LGBTQ/SSA Christians who hold historic Christian sexual ethics often focus on what language and categories they should use when they share their stories; but in this webinar, we'll focus on the prior question, "When and why should I share at all?" We'll hear from four panelists with different experiences of sharing (or choosing not to share) their stories, wrestling together with what the teaching of Scripture and the example of Jesus mean for navigating present-day conversations about personal experiences of sexuality and gender.
