Mixed-orientation marriages—that is, opposite-sex marriages in which at least one spouse is attracted to the same sex—have always existed. Until recently, however, these marriages received very little recognition and even less support from the world around them, especially in Christian communities. If we hold a historic Christian understanding of marriage and believe that Jesus may call some of his followers into opposite-sex marriages despite their ongoing attractions to the same sex, it's essential that we create room in our communities to recognize and support Christians in mixed-orientation marriages. In this webinar, we'll hear from a panel of straight Christians in mixed-orientation marriages with non-straight spouses, as they share with us the unique challenges and the unique joys of their marriages.
